When it comes to RVing, most individuals are renting RVs and hitting the road for a few weeks. While this has been the case in the past, people are now looking at RVs and tiny homes as permanent residences, many turning to an airstream RV life inspiration travel blog for assistance. For, a number of people are now desiring to live a simpler and less cluttered life, thanks in large part to the establishment of the tiny home movement.
When looking at different options, it is important that individuals envision the space filled with everything the individual plans on keeping. For, while tiny homes are a cool idea, most have very little square feet and are arranged as a long stay hotel room. As such, individuals with a lot of possessions of which the individual can not part may want to consider renting a larger apartment or home rental rather than moving into an RV or tiny house.
The couple had paid in advance for the airstream trailer sight unseen. In this case, everything was on the up and up which is good as many of these type listings and transactions are often nothing more than scams. When picking up the trailer, the dealership was just finishing a detail job. After which, the couple spent a few hours looking over every little detail before taking possession.
Once the couple realized they now owned a new mobile home which neither knew much about, the questions started. Most were related to the operations inside the unit. Although, one of the most important was how to hitch the airstream to the pickup truck. After a few hours of lessons and hitching the trailer to the pickup, the couple were ready to begin this new adventure.
While Steve had been looking forward to the experience for weeks, the wife had been somewhat hesitant. Not because of the drive, or Steve driving the truck and pulling a trailer, it was just a huge transition from a stationary home to one which was being towed. In addition, the whole RV lifestyle and experience was still something which had still not been experienced at that time.
According to the wife, the husband was a great driver and was incredible at taking wide turns and using signals like truck drivers and took the drive easy and slow. Although, driving and parking backwards was another story as the husband appeared to need practice. As such, the couple found an abandoned mall where the husband could practice doing so. Once, having the maneuvers down, the journey continued.
On one stretch of highway, the couple had a scare when bales of hay began blowing all over the travel lanes. While a close call, the couple made it back to the current house, then moved the remaining items necessary for a home onto the RV. Although, while the husband's day was near done, the wife's was only starting when it came to clearing clutter and moving stuff into the RV.
Before deciding to move out of an apartment, sell a house or obtain an RV, there are some important things to consider. For example, any time there is a move, most people downsize. As such, it is important to envision the tiny home, RV or other location with everything one desires to keep. After which, it can often be easier to let go of other things when the time comes.
