Bus Service Vero Beach: Fleet Through Town Freely

By Susan Price

The issue of how to travel sometimes becomes an issue. To rent a car or to rely on bus service Vero Beach? It really comes down to preference and what works best for the individual but there is a strong case to be made for the latter. The first thing to think about is how quickly the commute can be. Imagine the time and energy that would be lost trying to maneuver the traffic and later to find a parking spot?

There is a bit of money to be paid to board the shuttle. This amount does not compare to the costs of the alternatives. A rental car for example will attract both rental fees and fuel. A taxi will cost less than that but it will still be steep compared to the public transportation. That money could go towards a cold treat to cool down in the hot Florida sun.

It is human nature to savor finding kindred spirits. The shuttle allows one to get a feel of the people in the town. Their hospitality is incredibly heartwarming. One will find themselves roped into interestingly wild chats on the drive with a total stranger. The people are also very generous with tucked away gems for people who are seeking an out of the box experience. Those are never advertised on public domain.

One of the biggest problems looming over the world right now is the issue of pollution. This is why car companies are trying so hard to come up with energy efficient and environmentally efficient vehicles in an effort to save the future. Choosing to take public transportation is choosing to keep one more car off the road thus contributing in a small albeit important way to the global environmental welfare.

While driving, it is advisable to keep the eyes on the road. Not to let the beautiful scenery distract from the task at hand. This is incredibly sad especially if one is on vacation. How then can one travel but still remain free to admire the landscape and beaches? Yes, guessed it. One does not even have to enjoy the scenery either, he or she can just snooze or catch up on a little reading. Let someone else worry about that maniac on the road for once.

The roads are filled with frustrated people. People who are in such a hurry to get somewhere that they forget to care for the safety of others. People so engrossed in their own driving, they forget to look around for traffic dangers. This might sound a little morbid but if a bus is hit, the damage and casualties will be much less, unless of course it rolls. The safety stats are high on this one.

If it is the first time in town, then one will need to use a map and GPS. Even with the technology, it is still easy to get lost as one can take the wrong turn or exit. The driver of the bus will know every area well and there will be no chance that one will wind up driving into a berry farm.

If it is expected that there will be traffic, a public transportation company will be in a better position to know and map out alternative routes. An individual would find out after already being stuck in traffic for an hour. This is therefore more reliable.
