Freedom Hall And Nearby Lodging And Dining

For tourists that are visiting Louisville, Kentucky to see the Freedom Hall arena, convenient lodging is a must. The Holiday Inn is only a mere five miles from the venue and a seven minute drive on I-264 East. It's clean, it's located by Jefferson Riverport International and it's equipped to house those who are there on business as well.

This venue hosts events ranging from basketball, concerts, ice skating, hockey and rallies, to western shows, horse shows and wrestling. It is capable of seating over nineteen thousand people. There is room for 240 people to stand on the concrete floor, which is 39,000 square feet. Permanent seats have backs and armrest, while retractable chairs can be removed for whatever the present event calls for.

The venue can be situated for smaller events starting at a capacity of 6,000 guests. There is an escalator and three elevators available for use as well. The entire building is climate controlled, heated in the winter and cool in the summer. Parking is located outside, with over nineteen thousand parking places available at eight dollars per vehicle. Parking places E or J are recommended for those attending Freedom Hall events.

The stadium can be situated for smaller events that start at a minimum capacity of six thousand. There are private boxes, suites and meeting rooms available for rent. For those who aren't inclined to trek up a flight of stairs to reach their seats, the stadium has three elevators and an escalator that can be used as a substitute.

On the venue floor, near the end of the stage, there is an area that can hold a standing audience of up to two hundred and forty people. The total measurements of the arena floor is 39,000 square feet. It is completely climate controlled as well. Excellent sound systems project the strings of guitars in concerts and the scores of competing teams during a basketball game.

The arena can and has housed events that include ice skating, rallies, musical productions, wrestling, ice hockey, western and horse shows, concerts and basketball games. There are locker rooms and dressing quarters for those who might want to rent the arena out. Parking is located outside in lots E or J. There is an eight dollar toll per vehicle. Ten dollars is charged for an RV.

Freedom Hall has been host to many great concerts and entertaining events. It's convenient and clean. The seating is comfortable and the venue itself is impressive in size. The stages and shows are equipped with excellent sounds systems and there are plenty of elevators for those who aren't inclined to climb a flight of stairs to reach their seats. Lodging at the nearby Holiday Inn will further the pleasantness of the experience by providing nearby occupancy and stress-free commuting.
